Product Review: Sugar Free Snacks

7/12/2014

I tried the Fed Up Challenge for seventeen days. Then I found myself on a family vacation surrounded by ice cream stands and chocolate croissants, and I gave in. But for seventeen days I did not eat sugar. And during that time we received some sugar free snacks and vitamins to try.

Koochikoo cookies have so many fun flavors. The cookies are sweetened with monk fruit and stevia. The flavors include chocolate chip, chocolate chocolate chip, lemon and our favorite maple cookies! We had some friends who love pink try the strawberry cookies, and they liked them too! They come in small snack bags, and are easy to take along anywhere.

Wacky Apple products are fruity and fun too. Their mixed fruit applesauces, dried fruit bars and cups of juice are easy to keep on hand. It was fun trying all of the combinations, and we especially liked the mango applesauce. The juice came in little cups which was different too.

alternaVites powdered vitamins are a fun way for kids to take vitamins. They come in individual packets full of vitamins for kids to sprinkle in their mouths, on to fruit or into smoothies. They come in two flavors:  Strawberry Bubblegum and Raspberry Cotton Candy, both of which taste good.

We had fun trying all of these products, but of course you should contact your doctor about any vitamins or sugar substitutes that your child will be trying.

We received free products to review, but our opinions are all our own.
