![]() My two-month-old nephew got to do his first product trial with this Two Piece Lion Roar Pullover Outfit from the Sesame Street Store! His mom thought the outfit was very cute, with a cool "big boy" look to it! The cut of the comfy pants is great, and they look good on him too. The pants are long which is great for this "tall" boy. The only issue they found was that the neck opening in the shirt is a bit small (hard to get over the head) so we would suggest ordering a size up, if this may be an issue for your little guy too. Overall, this is a super fun outfit, and it makes a great gift for any zoo lover! We received a free product in exchange for this review, but all opinions are our own. And our Auntie's! We are lucky again to have musical suggestions from Alison Faith Levy for this time of year!
"Adon Olam" can be sung to any tune, and here it is sung in the style of "Cups!" A classic, the Muppets do Shana Tova. This is a great song and video called Dip Your Apple. Very cool animation and song for Sukkot. And of course - Shakin' the Lulav (for Sukkot). She also loves "I Love to Hear the Shofar Blast," which is one she sings at her temple with the kids. Alison Faith Levy, formerly "Sippy Alison" of the beloved Bay Area band The Sippy Cups, recently released her colorful indie pop album for children, World of Wonder. Alison teaches children's music classes at SF Bay Area Jewish Community Centers. She is currently working on an album of original pop rock tunes about the Jewish holidays for young children. You can find out more about Alison at www.alisonfaithlevy.com. In keeping with our OOGIAH (cookie in Hebrew) theme, we encourage you to BAKE! more this year with your kids and families! When you Bring a Kid to Events that are Jewish it can strengthen their Jewish identity, and give them a stronger sense of belonging to a larger community. Of course there are many events at your local community centers and synagogues. But an event can also be created by you in the form of a holiday dinner, story time or baking time! Our goal is to see people increase their involvement by one event a month, whatever that event may be. We have listed some ideas on the BAKE! page, and would love to hear your add to the list, and see what you do. We will start with a monthly drawing to win an OOGIAH shopping bag and pen for one lucky winner who posts what they have been doing on our Facebook page. The winner will be announced on November 1, 2013. Have fun as you BAKE! ![]() Frozen Yogurt is a great treat for any afternoon, as well as for special occasions.
